Transitions and Trade-Offs in the Automotive Industry
May 03, 2024 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Instructor: Max Andrew Wiener
Join us as we discuss the mandated transitions within the auto industry (and, importantly, simultaneous transitions in the energy sector), focused on the perspective of the engineering and manufacturing side. This will be juxtaposed with an attempt to hit on the often-ignored economic and environmental trade-offs of circumventing the market through mandates and ask, “is this potentially counterproductive?” Attendees will be asked to apply their critical thinking skills to better understand environmental trade-offs in managing emerging technologies.
